Our Staff
John E. Brown, CPDT
Certified Pet Dog Trainer
John began working at Rover in December of 2005 after working five years as an engineer and another five years as a financial advisor. Now, he is doing what he loves! Working with dogs!
John is the dog trainer at Rover, holding group classes, as well as, private tutoring, and he is also a pet care supervisor in our daycare. He is also the Training and Behavior Coordinator at the Toledo Area Humane Society and holds group training classes for people and their adopted rescue dogs. He also talks to kids about dog safety and dog training through the Girl Scouts, Humane Society, and local schools.
John is a Certified Pet Dog Trainer (CPDT) (one of only three in the NW Ohio area), an honors graduate from the Animal Behavior College of dog training, and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Toledo. Other certificates he maintains include the Pet Care Services Association (PCSA) Advanced Pet Care Technician, Pet First Aid, and is a professional member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers. John regularly increases his knowledge of dog training and behavior by attending seminars and workshops presented by industry experts.
Dee Sneider
Dee has owned dogs, shown dogs in both conformation and obedience and also a regular volunteer at the Toledo Area Humane Society. Dee says dogs are everyones best friend and always enjoys being around them. She wants to thank you for sharing your dogs with us.
Bailey Warren
Bailey has worked at Rover since 2006 as a groomer and daycare employee. She has been a student in the Vet Tech program and is currently pursuing a degree in law enforcement to work in Animal Cruelty Prevention.
Melissa Bartlett
Melissa has worked with dogs at area dog facilities and is a graduated and certified vet tech from Stautzenberger College. She has had dogs all her life and brings knowledge and medical experience with her to Rover.
Brooke Breier
Brooke has worked at Rover almost since opening. She is currently a part time student and a full time dog owner. She has 3 puggle mixes and a Chihuahua mix. Brooke as well as all the staff at Rover know every dog by name as well as their likes and preferences of each dog that comes in the door.
