Play Time At Rover Come Over

At Rover Come Over Doggy Daycare, playtime is designed to be fun, safe, and enriching for every dog. Through supervised play, personalized groupings, and thoughtfully designed spaces, we create an environment where dogs can socialize, build confidence, and enjoy a full day of activity.

By the end of the day, most pups head home happily tired from a combination of play and positive socialization!

  • Before joining our daycare, every dog goes through a personalized interview and evaluation. This allows us to learn about their temperament, comfort level, and play style.

We also ensure that every dog meets our health criteria, including required vaccinations and wellness standards, to keep our daycare community safe and healthy

For everyone’s safety, we require all dogs to be up-to-date on the following vaccines:

    • Bordetella

    • Leptospirosis

    • Distemper

    • Rabies

    Additional Health Guidelines:

    • Dogs over 6 months must be spayed or neutered to attend daycare.

    • Newly adopted dogs must be in their new home for at least 3 weeks before starting daycare.

  • We carefully group dogs to ensure comfort and safety, including:

    • Small Dog Side

    • Big Dog Side

    • Small Groups as Needed for dogs who prefer a calmer environment

Our grouping is based on temperament, energy level, and play style, which means:

    ✔️ Senior dogs are welcome
✔️ Shy or calmer dogs can enjoy smaller groups
✔️ High-energy dogs get appropriate playmates

This personalized approach helps reduce stress and encourages positive interactions.

  • Our daycare offers a variety of enrichment areas designed to keep dogs active and entertained, including:

    • Safe and fun play equipment

    • Attention from staff

    • Comfortable canine turf for running and play

    • Swimming opportunities for dogs who enjoy splashing and cooling off

These features support physical exercise and mental stimulation throughout the day.

  • We go the extra mile to make sure every pup is comfortable:

    • Cozy blankets provided on the small dog side

    • Sweaters available for dogs of all sizes, especially on cooler days

    • Fans in every play group to keep air circulating on hotter days

    • Water play and swimming opportunities for small and large dogs during the summer

    • Our building is fully equipped with air conditioning and heat to keep dogs comfortable year-round

  • Socialization at Rover Come Over helps dogs:

    • Build confidence

    • Learn positive play behaviors

    • Burn energy in a healthy way

    • Reduce boredom and anxiety

Whether through play, swimming, or simply being around other dogs, your pup will enjoy a balanced and enriching day.

  • At Rover Come Over, our best feature by far is our fantastic staff! Each staff member is experienced and trained in off-leash play, dog behavioral study, and more with rigorous on-the-job training. Many staff members also have formal education in veterinary technology or animal training, and even devote off-work hours to animal welfare because they simply love animals and dogs.
