Since 2004, Rover Come Over has been a locally owned and operated dog care and grooming business proudly serving families throughout Northwest Ohio. From the beginning, our focus has been on creating a safe, welcoming environment where dogs receive attentive, compassionate care and owners can feel confident in the services we provide.
As a small local business, we value personal connections with every client and take the time to understand each dog’s individual needs. Our dedicated team is carefully trained in off-leash play supervision, canine behavior, and daily care through hands-on experience and ongoing education. Many staff members also bring formal training in veterinary technology or animal care, strengthening the level of service we offer.
Our close-knit staff is the foundation of our success, with an average tenure of more than five years. This consistency, experience, and genuine love for dogs allow us to deliver reliable, high-quality care and build lasting relationships with the families we serve.

We welcome all breeds at Rover Come Over Doggy Daycare!
Acceptance is based on temperament and behavior, not breed. Every dog participates in a temperament evaluation to ensure they are comfortable in a group play environment and can safely interact with other dogs and our staff.
Our goal is to create a positive, safe, and fun experience for every dog in our care.
-
Yes! All new dogs participate in a FREE Interview Appointment to make sure daycare is a good fit and to place them in the appropriate play group.

Distemper
Rabies

Please bring your dog on a standard, non-retractable leash. For safety reasons, retractable leashes are not permitted on our property.
We provide fresh water, toys, and a fun, structured environment. If your dog requires medication or has special care instructions, please let our staff know at drop-off.
-
Yes! You are welcome to bring your dog’s own lunch, or you may purchase one of our convenient menu options.
Dogs are down for lunch beginning at 10:30 AM. We allow a 30-minute rest period, feed at 11:00 AM, and then provide an additional one-hour rest period. This routine helps reduce the risk of upset stomachs and bloat (GDV) while giving dogs time to relax before returning to play.
-
Yes! Once your dog has successfully completed their temperament interview, we will send you instructions on how to access and view our live cameras.
-
There are times when your dog may not be visible on the cameras because they are:
• Down for lunch
• Taking a rest break as neededDogs, just like kids, can sometimes become tired or a little cranky after active play. Providing rest breaks when needed helps keep everyone safe, comfortable, and happy throughout the day.
-
We use small, carefully selected play groups to ensure every dog feels comfortable and safe. Not all dogs thrive in large groups, and situations such as dogs entering or exiting play areas can sometimes cause excitement or displacement behaviors.
Additionally, some dogs simply prefer certain playmates or may not get along with every dog. Smaller groups allow our trained staff to better manage interactions, reduce stress, and provide a more positive, enjoyable daycare experience for your dog.
