Get Started at Rover Come Over

Whether your dog is joining us for daycare, grooming, or both, getting started is easy. Our process helps ensure that every dog in our care is healthy, comfortable, and ready for a positive experience.

Follow the steps below to get started.

  • Create your dog’s profile by registering through our Gingr online system. This allows us to collect important information about your pup, including contact information, health records, and care preferences.

Once your account is created, you will be able to manage appointments, upload records, and communicate with our team.

  • After registering, we will verify your dog’s vaccination records.

    You can either:

    • Upload a photo of your dog’s vaccine records directly to your Gingr account, or

    • We can contact your veterinarian to verify the records for you.

    Required vaccines include:

    • Rabies

    • Distemper

    • Bordetella

    • Leptospirosis

These requirements help keep all dogs in our care safe and healthy.

    Daycare Requirements:

To participate in daycare, dogs must meet the following guidelines:

    • Dogs over 6 months old must be spayed or neutered

    • Newly adopted dogs must be in their new home for at least 3 weeks before starting daycare

These guidelines help ensure dogs are settled, healthy, and ready for social play.

  • Once your records are verified, we will contact you to schedule your dog’s first visit.

For daycare, the first visit is a free 4-hour interview day. This temperament evaluation allows our staff to observe how your dog interacts with other dogs and helps us place them in the playgroup where they will feel the most comfortable and happy.

For grooming, once records are verified you can schedule your grooming appointment with our team.

  • Once your dog completes their interview and introduction period, they officially become part of the Rover Come Over pack!

Daycare dogs do not need to schedule appointments for daycare visits after passing their interview. You are welcome to bring your pup in any time during our regular business hours for daycare.

This flexible drop-off system makes daycare easy and convenient for busy pet parents. Whether your dog needs a full day of play or just a visit to burn off some energy, they are always welcome.

Your pup will quickly become familiar with our staff, playgroups, and daily routine, making each visit comfortable, fun, and something they look forward to.

We’re excited to welcome your dog into our community where they can play, socialize, build confidence, and have fun with their friends at Rover Come Over!
